Munge-Dukna is a very rare male figure carved in wood from Melanesia. The figures stood as a protection. In my painting this figure stands in an unfamiliar world, the city of Auckland. This large painting is on Belgian Linen, and can be shipped by taking it off the stretcher and rolled around a tube. It will then need to be re-stretched on arrival. Currently at nkb gallery, Auckland.
