VIEW IN MY ROOM
A square of round steel of 3mm is hanging from a nail on its diagonals (black cord of 3mm). If the diagonals were not resilient then this would not be possible there would be an unstable situation because the nail (the pivot point) is in the middle of the square. Due to the resilience of the cord, the square has dropped and the nail is now at the top of the square and a stable situation is created. The diagonals are bent and a pyramid is created in perspective. Themes of Nico Kok are reflected in this work such as: square, use of materials, how is the work made, pyramids, what can be done with them, diagonals , etc. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDZu3pM2QyA
