When is the last time you will do something? This talking, motion activated (PIR) sculpture ponders that moment. When is the last time you want to, have to, are able to climb a ladder. There is a moment when all abilities pass. Here is sculpture with consciousness. I present this sculpture with a custom pedestal. Please consider these dimensions. The suggested pedestal is 40" h. Without the suggested pedestal, the stepped base and figure with the ladder is 72" minimum and 96" maximum when the ladder is extended. As shown in the photo fully extended with the suggested pedestal the piece is 11' tall. Price includes pedestal. It will be shipped in three pieces. The pedestal will be drop shipped from the factory allowing for placement. The stepped pedestal is shipped separate and merely placed on top of the pedestal. The figure and ladder are the third shipped piece and it literally sits securely atop the stepped base. The ladder is aluminum and made the same way extension ladders are manufactured. Then pedestal is about 30 pounds and the sculpture itself is only 20 pounds. I made 12 identical sculptures of this piece. Born and live in St. Louis. Always been an artist. My focus has always been 3D. I have made furniture, art pottery, painted pictures but my focus has always been the figure. My figures are realist humans doing the mundane and the heroic. Many sculptures have an electronic component and talk to you when approached.
