I like to work with the machinery at my shared studio, especially the lasercutter. Here I got my hands on some mirror and wanted to try out, how that would be with the stripes reflecting the surroundings. It is a piece, that changes every time you move and with the light and so, so it is always having some attention. I call it Ride the wave, since I felt like that when I finished it! And all the sparkle and swirling gives a lucky you/me impression. The color is in fact dark purple, though it does appear black, especially on the pictures. Has an attachment and is signed on the back

Denmark
Danish artist and pattern designer. My paintings are hand shaped, CNC cut or laser cut mdf/plywood in my shared studio. Sometimes I add epoxy for the shine and matte look together. I don't think it is hip to be square, so my wall hangings are always shaped.. That can also be handy, since they can fit in different places, like between two close doors. I always add some A5 cards with my pattern design with purchases.
