The work "Origin: Convergence" primarily employs raw clay as its main material, supplemented by discarded metals, sand, and concrete from construction sites. It selects typical pottery shapes from the prehistoric "Pottery Road" and flattens them, visually compressing three-dimensional pottery to metaphorically depict the evolution of millennia. The deconstruction and recombination of pottery culture and fossil images represent the artistic reproduction of human creations and natural organisms. Building upon the traditional craftsmanship of handmade pottery, the work experimentally combines the fusibility of waste materials with the firing process of ceramics, allowing old copper, iron, and sand to leave mottled marks on the ceramic surface. Meanwhile, the juxtaposition of concrete and ceramic materials reflects the collision between history and reality.

My process of creating a work is a process of inspecting society. I am trying to convey the world seen through my eyes, which is also my understanding of art. Artists should lead people to the ideal world they create. Ceramic is an important element of my portfolio. It is a material with strong bearing capacity, and at the same time, it is a tool with the attribute of nature and social function, for the similarity with humans can be found in it. Thanks to its characteristics, I am able to transform the forms, colors, and quality to complete my works. Collected from nature, carved with human hands, the clay is cultivated and my expectation of the outside world is satisfied.
