The work "human cubes 144" consists of more than 144 cubes made of maple and walnut wood. Each individual cube was precisely sawn to size by Manfred Hellweger, the edges sanded and connected to the next cube with beechwood dowels, glue and clamps. A 1mm thick stainless steel cable is used to hang the sculpture in the steel frame. Similar to the sculpture series "human flow" or "human nails", Hellweger created a whole from many individual parts. Each cube stands for a thought, an emotion, or a feeling in a person's life. The steel frame has been waxed and polished to prevent oxidation. This has two hangers on the back for easy mounting on the wall. Delivery incl. screws and dowels. Steel frame dimensions: 166 x 66 x 10 cm Sculpture dimensions: 121 x 22.6 x 14.5 cm Total weight of the artwork: 20.6 kg All sculptures by Manfred Hellweger are unique.
