I was born in a small town in South Carolina and now live and work in San Diego. I studied painting briefly before transferring to Graphic Design thinking it would be more practical. After college I was unsuccessful in a design career and worked in the hospitality industry before going back to school for nursing. I came back to painting later and have shown locally in multiple galleries in California, and Colorado.
